FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes continuous introduction of hard elastomer, filler and oils into continuous-action mixer 10. Elastomer, filler and oils are subjected to dispersion mixing with subsequent distributive mixing. Continuous discharge of obtained chewing-gum base from mixer is performed along with introduction and mixing of ingredients. Oils are introduced into continuous-action mixer through great number of spatially-separated charging holes (12, 13, 14 and 15). Part of oils is preferably introduced into mixer along with hard elastomer and filler upstream from zone of dispersion mixing. Part of oils is also introduced into mixer downstream from dispersion mixing zone along production line, but upstream from distributive mixing zone. Thus chewing-gum base is produced (variants). Then chewing- gum composition containing this base is obtained (variants). As a result, continuous process of chewing- gum base production in continuous-action equipment is provided. In this case, multiple different bases of chewing gum are produced without restriction by type or content of elastomer used. At the same time elastomer does not require separate preliminary mixing or other preliminary treatment. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 46 cl, 36 ex, 5 tbl, 38 dwg
