FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: according to one version, method involves feeding required components for producing desired base; adding required components of base in predetermined location within mixer at ambient temperature. Mentioned base component has heat capacity sufficient for cooling of at least portion of contents of mixer to required temperature. Each method allows different kinds of chewing gum to be produced, with types and amounts of elastoplastic being unlimited. Thus, methods provide continuous process of manufacture chewing gum with cooling of components contained in different sections of mixer. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced production cost and power consumption. 32 cl, 12 dwg, 1 tbl, 5 ex
