FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing preliminary partial musculus quadriceps femoris musculus tendons tenotomy. Caliper traction apparatus is applied to the femur and shin. The tendon portion treated with tenotome is subjected to elongation during 5 to 15 days with traction rate of 1-2 mm per day to reach 15-20 mm. EFFECT: lower traumatic side effect risk; retained length and tonus of healthy musculus quadriceps heads and their tendons. 1 dwg
