FIELD: ecological monitoring, remote diagnostics for detection and measurement of concentration of dangerous gases in areas of their emergency or unauthorized appearance. SUBSTANCE: method includes consistent irradiation of area of supposed appearance of dangerous gases by laser radiation with wave length fallen in band of absorption of dangerous gases, registration of reflected radiation and formation of videosignals. Irradiation and registration of reflected radiation is conducted in momentary angular vision field Δθ = D/L=d/L, where d is proposed diameter of cloud of dangerous gases; L is distance from radiation source to cloud of dangerous gases. After this first videosignal proportional to relation of difference of intensities of reflected radiation in (n-1)-th and nth spacings of observation to their sum is formed. Then second videosignal proportional to relation of difference of intensities of reflected radiation in(n-1)-th and nth spacings of observation to their sum. Availability of formed videosignals determines presence or absence of dangerous gases and amplitude of videosignals determines their concentration. EFFECT: increased possibility of detection of dangerous gases with simultaneous reduction of probability of false operations ( alarms ). 1 dwg
