FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: nucleic acid is revealed by detecting amplification products. When performing amplification, one utilizes first primer containing or not segment not adjacent to the first primering sequence and second primer containing or not segment not adjacent to the second primering sequence. Amplification is effected in presence of oligonucleotide incapable of functioning as primer for used polymerase and containing at least 5 consecutive nucleotides, which are complementary to at least 5 consecutive nucleotides of the first primer. Invention also provides kit, duplex, and composition for revealing particular nucleic acid.
