FIELD: non-destructive flaw detection. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for ultrasound flaw detectors. Device has unit for preliminary amplification of output signals of detectors, and signal processing unit, which are connected to computer. Preliminary amplification unit has amplifier with controlled gain. Signal processing unit has comparator with controlled threshold value. Program iteratively selects preliminary amplification gain for output signal of each detector in order to keep output signal level at given value. Produced values of preliminary gain are stored. Upon diagnostic operations, computer sets respective gain value and parameters to processing for signal of each detector. EFFECT: automatic tuning of data gathering system, increased speed of tuning. 2 cl, 1 dwg
