FIELD: production of composite compounds for preparation of sulfur-asphalt-concrete mixes applicable in capacity of roadway covering in highway engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in continuous batching of initial components in form of sulfur and bitumen into pipeline with sulfur-bitumen ratios of 20:80 and 80:20. Mix is fed through pipeline to mixing chamber of velocity layer apparatus. Mix in mixing chamber is subjected to treatment with ferromagnetic members rotating in electromagnetic field of velocity layer apparatus to obtain said mix in colloid state and supplied to position of mix dispensing. EFFECT: continuous conduction of process, reduced power consumption, excluded effluents of H2S and SO2, and sulfur vapors, produced homogeneous mix preserving its stability for prolonged period of time. 2 ex
