FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes pouring of steel melt in enclosed metal reservoir which is connected to vacuum plant. Steel melt is blown with oxygen during decarbonization process through combination oxygen lance through which combustible metallic agent is fed for chemical heating of steel melt. Temperature and pressure of steel melt are measured by means of measuring members connected with control units. When pressure inside enclosed metal reservoir drops below 100 bars during first 10 minutes, additional amount of O2 is blown in steel melt and smoothly distributed combustible metallic agent is fed (for example aluminum powder or mixture of Al, Fe, Si and Mn). EFFECT: high oxide degree of cleanness; reduced time required for decarbonization; reduced final content of carbon. 9 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
