FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic dopplerography of the penis in rest state. Resistance index is determined. Artificial stimulation is carried out and ultrasonic dopplerography is applied once more in the state of erection to determine the same value. Resistance coefficient is determined as the ratio of the resistance index after stimulation and one before stimulation. The value being less than 1, conclusion is drawn that no organic transformations take place in the blood vessels. The value being equal to 1, no marked organic transformations are to be observed in the blood vessels. The coefficient value bring greater than 1, not pronounced organic transformations are to be observed in the blood vessels. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 2 tbl
