FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic dopplerography of the penis in rest state. Blood circulation parameters, linear velocity of blood flow into systole and diastole, their ratio, mean blood circulation velocity are determined. Artificial penis erection is stimulated with local negative pressure applied by means of compressing vacuum device having constriction ring. Erection maximum being achieved, local vacuum action upon the penis is stopped. Constriction ring is placed on the penis root and ultrasonic dopplerography is repeatedly applied. The same values are to be determined in erection state and blood circulation increment as percent difference in linear velocity of blood flow in dorsal arteries before and after erection stimulation using local negative pressure method. Then the constriction ring is removed. The erection caused by local negative pressure vanishing, artificial erection is induced once more by applying intracavernous injection of vasoactive preparations. Ultrasonic dopplerography of the penis is applied once more in erection state. The same values and blood circulation increment as percent difference in linear velocity of blood flow in dorsal arteries before and after erection stimulation with intracavernous injection of vasoactive preparations are to be determined. Penis blood vessel walls flexibility reserve parameter is determined as blood circulation flow rate increments difference in dorsal arteries of the penis under various erection stimulation methods applied. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of method. 2 tbl
