FIELD: image recognition. SUBSTANCE: method involves comparison of current set of identification parameters to stored set of identification parameters, which are sorted in memory and making decision using results of comparison. Goal of invention is achieved by generation of stored and current sets of identification parameters using brightness signal, which corresponds to half-tome palm image, its conversion into N (where N is natural number) additional electric signals which correspond to palm images under N corresponding brightness levels. Generator of palm image has housing, which comprises light sources, which are connected optically, surface, onto which palm is put, and first mirror and first brightness signal receiver, which are connected to the surface optically along first beam. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced second mirror, which is inserted along first beam between first mirror and first receiver of brightness signal.
