Diameter of lower point of gear tooth involute profile is equal to diameter of gear main circumference due to selection of shifting coefficient of initial contour by dependence x1= db1-(d1-2h*a

•m)/2m, where db1 is diameter of gear main circumference; d1 is gear pitch diameter; h*a
= 1 is coefficient of depth of gear tooth head; m is gearing modulus. Shifting coefficient is rounded off in direction of smaller values up to first sign after point. Radial clearance between surfaces of gear tooth spaces and wheel tooth points is enlarged by half the shift of gear initial contour due to reduction of rated diameter of wheel tooth points.
