FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying external fixation device for treating pelvic bone fractures having pelvic and femoral fixing units with additional trochanteric and reposition units. Reposition is carried out by means of threaded rods to be screwed into each fractured pelvic bone fragment. The threaded rods are fixed by means of cantilevers on the anterior half-arches of the pelvic support member and on additional reposition units. Integral block is formed from the dislocated bone fragment of the cotyloid cavity and femoral head using wires. The femur and bone fragments attached to it are stretched by means of additional trochanteric unit to the level of cotyloid cavity position. Then, the threaded rods are introduced into the posterior part of the pelvic ring. It is fixed on device units for carrying out bone fragments reposition. The threaded rods are introduced into the sacral body through the lateral crests base. After reposition for creating interfragmental compression having been done, cotyloid cavity fractures and femur head fragment fractures as well as any other pelvic fragment including the sacroiliac articulation are fixed, when needed, with compressing rod through a pierce in the skin made in perpendicular to the fracture line or ruptured sacroiliac articulation. Large scale dislocations of bone fragments being the case or a patient health state being heavy, reposition is carried out gradually. EFFECT: wide range of applications; accelerated treatment course. 3 cl, 3 dwg
