FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting skin and subcutaneous fat with semi-oval incision in inguinal areas and above the pubic symphysis turned with its convex portion upward. After the anterior walls of the inguinal canals being cut, the anterior leaves of the musculus rectus abdominis sheaths are separated from the white lines. The musculus rectus abdominis sheaths are cut 2-3 cm remote from tendinous edges of the internal oblique and transverse muscles with semi-oval incision turned with its convex portion upward. After hernial sacks being removed, the tendinous edges of the internal oblique and transverse muscles are fixed to pectineal ligaments. They are sutured to ilioaponeurotic bands and posterior regions of the inguinal ligaments. The cross-cut musculus rectus abdominis sheaths are sutured in longitudinal direction. Their lower edge is fixed above the sutures as duplicatures. EFFECT: reliably fixed inferomedial portions of the anterior abdominal wall.
