FIELD: devices for wood working under pressure. SUBSTANCE: device has a pressure chamber for placement of wooden parts to be worked in it. The pressure chamber contains also a medium, in which pressure is built up and which envelops the wooden parts from more than one side, and at least before pressure is fed, a secondary medium in the form of fluid medium. When the medium, in which pressure is being built up, is subjected to the action of pressure, the wooden parts are subjected to many-sided pressure, and their uniform compression is accomplished. The pressure chamber is provided with means for adjustment of the amount of the secondary medium, which penetrates into the wood in the process of working. These means may consist of valves for evacuation, or of shells that envelop the wooden parts and are impermeable for the secondary medium. EFFECT: reduced time of wood working under pressure. 8 cl, 2 dwg
