FIELD: agriculture, in particular, feed production. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing raw material; sowing microbial culture; exposing plant wastes to pulsed thermal treatment; providing fermentation and pasteurization. Source of enzyme preparations sown into prepared raw material is mixture of cultures of microorganisms comprising yeast, bacteria and fungi producing ferments possessing amylolytic and cellulosolytic properties. Biomass obtained is subjected to fermentation and pasteurization involving pulsed heating performed 3-5 times, with following reducing of temperature to 30 C. Microorganism culture contains Sacharomyces cerevisial diataficus yeasts, Acinetobacter bacteria and Pyroporus Squamosus Endomycopsis fibuliger mycelium fungi. Apparatus has horizontal vessel mounted for rotation on hollow shaft, pressure source, recirculation airduct made in the form of pipe which connects vessel outlet end to pressure source inlet end. Airduct is equipped with fresh air supply regulating device controlled by oxygen sensor and air pressure restrictor. Vessel rotation shaft has two cantilevered hollow halves connected via heater made in the form of flat hollow member rigidly fixed to shaft halves and connected to delivery side of pressure source and recirculation airduct inlet. Outer contour of this member is configured in accordance with that of vessel inner surface and is provided with brush-type edge adapted for cleaning the vessel. Method and apparatus may be used for processing of plant wastes of different origin including plant growing wastes, flour-milling, food-processing, alcoholic and brewing industry wastes, and allows feed additives with increased protein content to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency in producing protein feed additives and wasteless technology. 6 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex
