FIELD: packaging of food products. SUBSTANCE: wrapping sheet has film covered with layer of glue and preserving or pickling substance applied to film by means of glue. Method involves placing fresh food product, such as meat, fish, marine product, vegetable, fruit, into wrapping sheet so that preserving or pickling substance is in close contact with food product. Package is kept under temperature of about 0 C until food product is sufficiently preserved or pickled. Method allows food product ready for cooking or consumption to be produced.
