SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to packing of fresh meat products. Proposed method consists in placing meat product 14 on support 6 and closing the package in oxygen-containing atmosphere by double packing film 3. Said film 3 comprises inner film 15 with oxygen barrier property that contact the product and outer film 16 with no such property. Said double film is placed on meat product and heat sealed to edges of aforesaid support 6 to produce closed space inside the package that contains the oxygen amount required to prevent loose of colour in packed meat product. Said double film is wound on one feed roll 1. After unwinding and prior to introducing to packaging section 4, inner film 15 and outer film 16 are separated and, again, placed one onto another prior to heat sealing.
EFFECT: improved meat colour.
