FIELD: medicine (phthisiology) chemical and pharmaceutical industry, and veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: described is antitubercular agent which is essentially isoniazid- dextran conjugate with molecular weight of 65-75 kD of formula: wherein R1 is H, glucose residue or polyglucosyl residue of species shown in Fig. 1; R2 is isonicotinoyl hydrazide (isoniazid) residue of formula: or hydroxyl group. Agent has greater prolongation, higher therapeutic efficiency both with respect to micobacteria circulating in blood and micobacteria persisting in granulates, and is substantially less toxic.
