FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly production of flame inhibitors, elements of superlarge integral circuits, coolants, and gas dielectrics. SUBSTANCE: graphite and fluoral and mixture of fluorine wit inert gas is fed into fluidized bed reactor, gas stream, vibration or screw apparatus heated to 300-600 C. The resulting fluorographite is heat treated at 500-700 C. Gaseous mixture of perfluorocarbons is separated. Composition of reaction products is various depending on temperature, e.g. at 600 C preferably CF4; is formed in both stages; at 450-550 C in first stage, and 500-600 in second stage high-molecular perfluorocarbons CnFm are preferably formed wherein n is equal more than 4. Method is fireproof and explosion-proof. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 3 cl, 9 tbl
