SUBSTANCE: double-layer capacitor has hollow case accommodating at least one stack of storage sections with current-collecting plates which close the case on butt ends and compress stack of storage sections; at least one bar-shaped current lead electrically connected to current- collecting plate and inserted in hole 9 provided in power plate; internal insulators. Novelty is that capacitor is provided in addition with external end insulator mounted on current lead, held tight against power plate 6, and connected through sealed joint to internal insulator mounted in power plate hole about current lead and to intermediate bushing welded to current- collecting plate; current lead is attached to bushing by means of threaded joint and, in addition, by soldering, welding, or by means of adhesive.
