DRAIN DECONTAMINATION PLANT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: biological treatment of sewage; cleaning of drains of atomic power station accompanied by radioactive decontamination of equipment and generation of tritiated water. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes receiver communicated with methanol storage and methane tank whose chambers are provided with dispersers and methane fermentation chamber is connected with chlorella generator via supercharger; upper portion of generator is provided in its upper portion with fermentative agent sprinkler from methane tank is communicated with receiver by methane line; in its lower portion generator is communicated with centrifugal microfilter and with dynamic disintegrator in chlorella and sulfur bacteria biomass. Receiver is connected with fractionating tower which is provided with transversal perforated baffles dividing it into sections. Immobilizing packing on these baffles and glass fiber bundles are located under them. Sections of tower are interconnected by means of overflow pipes; lower section is communicated with heat exchanger and with decontaminating apparatus sprinkler by heavy water line; decontamination object with immobilizing grid placed on its surface is mounted on false bottom communicated with air supercharger on flexible supports of stand equipped with vibrator. Decontaminating apparatus is connected with centrifugal microfilter by decontaminating medium (water) line and with inlet branch pipe of dynamic disintegrator whose outlet branch pipe is communicated with sprinkler of decontaminating apparatus whose mixture discharge branch pipe is connected in its turn with receiver and with additional fractionating tower through hydraulic seal. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to generation of additional product - tritiated water and decontamination of atomic station equipment. 1 dwg
