METHOD OF COMPLEX TREATMENT OF DIESEL FUEL AND SWIRLING APPARATUS USED AT TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; preparation of diesel fuel with improved properties. SUBSTANCE: diesel fuel is heated in process of periodical circulation along closed circuit including heat exchanger and rotary-disk open-type swirling apparatus. Mechanical destruction and dispersing in sucked-in air at saturation with oxygen place in field of action of centrifugal forces of swirling apparatus. Simultaneously with processes of separation and homogenization, fine filtering is carried out on filtering porous partition made of water-repellant material, fineness of cleaning 3- 8 microns, and filtering on multilayer filter-reactor at temperature of 25- 45 C. Filter-reactor is formed by grains of polyfunctional catalyst alkylating aromatic compounds and layer of charge made of powder of transition metals or their oxides. Then treated diesel fuel is subjected to stabilization by introduction of surface-active substance-based additions. Invention contains description of design of swirling apparatus.
