FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: treatment of diesel fuel consists in adding a multifunctional, stabilizing and depressing, agent to preheated fuel, said multifunctional agent being a composition containing copolymers of unsaturated hydrocarbons with density 0.7 to 1.2 g/cu.cm prepared by dissolving copolymers (to concentration 15 to 50 wt %) in diesel fuel preliminarily heated and subjected to homogenization and separation in rotor-disc-type swirling apparatus. Amount of agent added varies between 0.1 and 1.0 kg per 1000 l diesel fuel. EFFECT: improved quality of fuel and simplified agent addition technology. 2 cl
