FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The chewing gum contains a chewing gum base, a water-soluble filler and at least one flavouring agent. The chewing gum base contains a butadiene-styrene elastomer produced by way of random copolymerisation in a solution. The said elastomer has molecular weight equal to 300000 - 750000 and accounts for at least 25 wt % of the elastomeric component in the chewing gum base. The produced chewing gum may be chewed at mouth cavity temperature.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce chewing gum with a neutral taste of the chewing gum base and with the required binding capacity.
