FIELD: abrasive machining, in particular, process which may be used for manufacture and operation of abrasive tools.
SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating abrasive tool with composition containing organic compound and water, with organic compound used being copolymer of ethylacrylate, dimethacryl ether of ethylene glycol and methylol methacrylate in aqueous medium. Impregnation of abrasive tool is carried out at room temperature during 10-15 min with preliminary vacuumizing thereof. Method further involves placing abrasive tool for 10-15 min period of time into reservoir filled with water at temperature of 90-95 C for fixing of impregnating compound in its porous space; providing convective drying of tool while rotating it at rotational velocity of 0.3-0.5 s-1 at temperature of 80-95 C during 10-12 hours.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of tool, reduced impregnation and drying time, decreased manufacture costs and increased ecological controlling of grinding operation.
