FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding and may be used for production of abrasive tools, for example, Bakelite-binder grinding wheels. Abrasive tool is impregnated in vessel with water solution containing 20-25 g of chromium iodide per litre of water to allow fixation chromium iodide in tool porous space at intermittent shaking of said vessel. Tool is subjected to convective drying for 1.5-2 hours at 40-50°.
EFFECT: longer shelf life.
