POWERED MINING COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in operation of powered mining complexes on beds with nonuniform hypsometry of their occurrence and with any angles of dipping. SUBSTANCE: powered mining complex includes powered support consisting of units, base with longitudinal beam and guide for advancing of stoping machine. There are shanks between support units over bed floor which are connected by means of sliders to longitudinal beam and to support units by means of hydraulic rams. Installed on face part of base of each support unit is transverse hydraulic cartridge, and on caving part of each shank, transverse hydraulic cartridge. The first two lower support units are combined by means of hydraulic jacks into supporting set for setting of preset direction of motion of powered support governed by direction of longitudinal axis of development working. Support units including supporting set are provided with additional transverse hydraulic cartridges secured by pairs from lower side of roofing for relative motion along roofing of higher support unit. Sliders are connected with longitudinal beam so that face ends of shanks pass through recess made along caving side of beam and together with slides are located in internal cavity of beam for free sliding in it during advance of support units. Each slider is connected by axle with caving end of shank. The complex ensures a possibility for support units during their advance to assume position in compliance with mining and geological conditions relative to longitudinal axis of development working without their sliding and overturning.
