FIELD: electrical connectors; hoisting crane connectors. SUBSTANCE: device has rotary current collector incorporating stator and rotor, carrier-pin mechanism that functions to couple rotating piece of equipment with rotor of current collector whose stator is coupled with fixed piece of equipment, cable secured on current collector, adapter connected through plug connector to current collector rotor, and sealed casing secured on one end to adapter and on other, to cable. Shielding apron is provided on rotating piece of equipment above current collector for accommodating carrier-pin mechanism. Shielding apron covers upper part of current collector and partially covers the latter through its height. Carrier-pin mechanism has at least one pin arranged in parallel with axis of revolution of rotating piece of equipment. Upper end of each pin is mounted on rotating piece of equipment and lower one is loosely coupled with mentioned adapter. Rotary current collector is built up of unified components and functions to connect standard rotating pieces of equipment to fixed ones.
