FIELD: processes for welding construction reinforcing members of pressurized pipelines to be repaired for restoring their carrying capability without interruption of product transportation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing two technological rings mutually spaced by gap at both sides of defective butt of pipeline; assembling slit-type coupling on technological rings and welding said coupling to them by angular seams spaced from outer ends of rings by distance consisting 0.3-0.5 of tube wall thickness; feeding self-setting mass into cavity formed by defective butt and coupling. Slit-type coupling is made of steel characterized by good weldability and having strength less than that of pipeline metal, namely it is made of steel sheet whose thickness is equal to 0.56(t1 x K), where t1 - tube wall thickness, K- relation of ultimate strength values of metals of tube and coupling. Wall thickness of technological rings is selected equal to o. 5-1.0 of tube wall thickness. EFFECT: safety welding procedure on pressurized pipeline for reliably sealing pipeline. 3 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex
