FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipeline transport, and is meant for repairing the main big-diameter gas lines. Process rings are installed on both sides of defective pipeline section. From inner end face of the rings there mounted with a gap are additional thin-walled rings whereon installed is repair coupling the end faces whereof, end faces of additional thin-walled rings located therebelow, and end faces of process rings are welded to pipe body. The space below the coupling is filled under pressure with self-curing mass. Height of additional thin-walled rings is chosen so that it equals excess weld of pipeline section being repaired.
EFFECT: improving pipeline reliability.
