FIELD: bridge engineering; erection of monolithic concrete bridge piers. SUBSTANCE: procedure is started with making foundation ready for pier. Then attachments and reinforced skeleton are installed for concreting. After that base is concreted so that non-concreted niche is provided in its center of top part; niche dimensions are found from equations given in invention. Attachment and reinforced skeleton are mounted for concreting body of pier. In time interval τ1 upon concreting the niche, pier body is concreted and structure is seasoned at preset temperature and humidity until it acquires desired operating characteristics, then attachment is dismounted. Permissible temperature difference between base and pier body at moment of its hardening is ensured in case there is long time interval between concreting of base and of pier body. EFFECT: improved crack resistance of solid concrete piers of bridge. 1 cl, 10 dwg
