FIELD: method and burner for introduction of solid, liquid or gaseous fuel into the furnace combustion zone, such as rotating furnace for production of cement clinker or similar products. SUBSTANCE: fuel is supplied through essentially concentric conduits (1,6), and primary air is supplied through two similar concentric and ring conduits (8,9) positioned around the conduits for fuel; air in one of these air conduits (9) represents air passing in the axial direction, while air in the second air conduit (8) represents air that is forced to rotate about the burner central axis, and independent control of portions of the primary air is assured. The specific feature of the burner is the fact that flows of the primary air get mixed at a comparatively low speed in the accumulating conduit (15) to a floe of the primary air, which subsequently gets accelerated to the desirable, comparatively high speed before it is introduced into the furnace through a ring nozzle (14). EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of agitation of fuel and air at an enhanced reliability at the minimum loss of pressure, the shape of the flame may be adjusted to the desirable optimum shape. 10 cl, 8 dwg
