FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel vapor metering valve has housing with fuel inlet and outlet branch pipes. Housing accommodates electromagnet in form of solenoid with metal core installed for reciprocating inside solenoid at preset frequency in axial direction. Movement of core is limited at one side by adjustable stop, and at other side, by end face of one of branch pipes brought into the housing for overlapping its passage area. One of relatively contacting ends of metal core or adjustable stop is provided with elastic material gasket. Metal core and stop are installed coaxially. Design peculiarity lies in the fact that relatively contacting ends of metal core and adjustable stop are made in form of truncated cones arranged one inside the other at their axial movement towards each other, and side surfaces of both cones are equidistant with clearance. Concave truncated cone is filled up with elastic material whose height is less than height of truncated cone thanks to which clearance is formed between larger base of truncated cone and elastic material. EFFECT: reduced noise in operation of valve without reduction of electromechanical force. 3 dwg
