SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel cascade polymeric complexes containing: a) complex-forming ligands of the general formula (I): A;X-[Y-(Z-(W-K_w>_z)_y]_x}_a where letters mean: A is nitrogen-containing cascade nucleus of basic multiplicity a; X and Y each means independently simple bond or repeated link in cascade of repeating multiplicity x, respectively y; Z and W each means independently repeated link in cascade of repeating multiplicity z, respectively w; K is residue of complex-forming agent; a is a number from 2 to 12; x, y, z and w each means independently numbers from 1 to 4 under condition that at least two repeated links are different and multiplicity product 16≅ a x y z w ≅ 64; b) at least 16 ions of element of ordinal numbers 57-83; c) if necessary cations of inorganic and/or organic bases, amino acids or amino acid amides and also d) if necessary acylated terminal amino-groups. New compounds are valuable compounds for diagnosis and therapy. They show good tolerance and high efficiency for recognition and localization of vessel diseases. Invention describes also the parent compounds and pharmaceutical composition for the above indicated prescription.
