SUBSTANCE: complex compounds have common formula where Z₁ and Z₂ are independently hydrogen atom or -(CH₂)_m-(C₆H₄)_q-(O)_k-(CH₂)_n-(C₆H₄)_I(O)₂-R residue where m and n are 0-20; k, I, q and r are 0 and 1; R represents hydrogen atom, (if it is necessary) OR′- substituted C₁-C₆ alkyl residue or CH₂COOR′ group where R′ is hydrogen atom, C₁-C₆-alkyl residue or benzyl group; X is hydrogen atom and/or equivalent of ion of metal having atomic number 21-29, 42,44 or 57-83, proviso that, at least, two of substituents of X are equivalent of ion of metal, that one of substituents of Z₁ and Z₂ is hydrogen atom and other is not hydrogen atom and that if n and I are respectively 0-k and r simultaneously is not 1, then Z₁ and Z₂ are not -CH₂-C₆H₄-O-CH₂-COOCH₂C₆H₅ or -CH₂-C₆H₄-O-(CH₂)₅-COOCH₂C₆H₅ and then -(O)_r-R is not -OH. Proposed compounds and their slats with organic and/or organic bases, aminoacids and with amides of aminoacids may be used as contrast materials at diagnostics and therapy of various diseases.
