FIELD: electrode coatings for welding. SUBSTANCE: electrode coating for manual arc welding of carbon and low-alloyed steels includes the following components, wt.% marble, 62-80; quartz sand, 18-24; alloying and deoxidizing materials, the balance. Coating may additionally contain chalk or limestone. Alloying and deoxidizing components are used in the form of manganese or ferromanganese in amount of 2-12 wt.%, and ferrosilicon, up to 5 wt.%. Coating may additionally contain, wt.%: fluorspar, up to 5; alumina, up to 10; plastisizers selected from group containing carboxymethyl cellulose, potash, soda and mica, up to 3.
