FIELD: space engineering; extravehicular activity of operator. SUBSTANCE: device includes lock made in form of manual leverage, swivel platform, telescopic beam secured to this platform, beam turn and elongation mechanisms, operator securing units and cargo attachment mechanism movably mounted at the end of beam. Beam turn mechanisms are made in form of manual control units mounted on swivel platform and accessible for operator's hands. Beam elongation mechanism is made in form of cable laid inside this beam. Operator securing units are mounted on opposite side from cargo attachment unit relative to axis of rotation of platform. Handholds are located on this platform, on at least first movable member of beam. Members of beam are provided with handrail securing on each member of beam. Safeguard transportation ring for motion of operator is secured on beam for free motion along all members. Inner diameter of ring embraces maximum diameter of beam members; locks for securing the operator and additional cargo are located on its outer surface. Terminal member of beam is provided with ring motion limiters. EFFECT: enhanced safety of operator performing installation of device of spacecraft case, as well as transfer and securing of cargo. 12 dwg
