FIELD: space engineering; extravehicular activity of operator. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has lock made in form of manual leverage, swivel platform and telescopic beam movably secured to this platform. Beam turn mechanisms are made in form of manual control units located on swivel platform in zone accessible for operator's hands. Beam elongation mechanism is located on its fixed member in zone accessible for operator's hands. It is made in form of drive with beam member extension units by means of ropes and rollers arranged inside beam. One end of rope used for folding the members of telescopic beam is connected with last movable member of telescopic beam through spring-loaded rope tension compensator; other end of this rope is secured on drum of manual extension drive. Operator's securing units are located on opposite side from cargo attachment unit relative to axis of rotation of platform. EFFECT: improved conditions for operator. 7 dwg
