FIELD: acceleration technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in those fields where fast acceleration of rotor about any of three orthogonal axes with limited consumption power of stator is required. Electrostatic gyroscope has rotor in suspension and stator with two coaxial coils in each of three windings whose central axes are mutually orthogonal and cross in center of suspension of rotor. Each coil overlaps crossing parts of two other pairs of coils whose axes are mutually orthogonal. Thanks to change of configuration of windings of rotation stator of gyroscope starting torque is increased and acceleration time and time of transient process are reduced. Additional coils are installed to raise efficiency of rotation stator which results in substantial decrease of time of readiness of gyroscope to high-accuracy measurements. EFFECT: decreased time of readiness of gyroscope to high-accuracy measurements. 1 cl, 3 dwg
