FIELD: nondestructive testing of structures by means of acoustic emission method.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on estimation of change of characteristics of acoustic emission signals at deformation of structures. Estimation of destruction at deformation is performed by analysis of change of parameters of distributions of acoustic emission characterized by invariant:
where M [τ2] is mathematical expectation of square of time intervals of acoustic emission signals; M2 [τ] is square of mathematical expectation of time intervals of acoustic emission signals; magnitude of deviation "I" of number "2" characterizes degree of destruction of structure.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
