SUBSTANCE: proposed device that may be used in X-ray flaw detectors capable of detecting flaws within materials and on surfaces of enclosed and three-dimensional parts such as tubes in static and dynamic conditions has its disc cathode provided with three-face annular ledge rigidly fixed through one of its faces to generatrix of cathode surface; pointed end of its anode is made in the form of regular cone; ratio of diameter D of cathode hole along its section through ledge crest to diameter d of conical end of anode in same section of cathode ranges within 2 <D/d <2.2.
