FIELD: electrochemical treatment of water and aqueous solutions of salts to change their oxidizing and reducing properties. SUBSTANCE: starting water with concentration of dissolved salts from 1.0 to 10.0 g/l is treated in anode chamber of flow diaphragm electrolyser with specific consumption of electricity from 3000 to 15000 coulomb per liter. Low-mineralized water with concentration of salts lower than in starting water with flow rate from 0.2 to 4.0 l/h is supplied into cathode chamber of electrolyser. Starting water supplied into anode chamber is prepared by metering out highly mineralized water to low-mineralized water. Value pH of anolyte is controlled in the range from 4.0 to 7.5 by change of flow rate of low-mineralized water. EFFECT: preparation of disinfecting solution with optimum range of pH and with low residual content of salt. 1 dwg
