FIELD: devices for preparation and delivery of fuel to internal combustion engines; methods of their operation. SUBSTANCE: fuel is fed to evaporation zone for separation into gaseous and liquid fraction from layers of porous structure of cermet block which is just evaporating unit. Fuel is heated by phase transition energy when heat-transfer agent changes from liquid to gaseous state, thus heating the heat- transfer agent. Waste gases of internal combustion engine are used for preheating the heat- transfer agent. Two versions of fuel vaporizer are proposed. EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption. 4 cl, 2 dwg
