FIELD: control of flow parameters. SUBSTANCE: controllable throttling valve has body with inlet and outlet holes. Throttling device positioned in body consists of two interacting members, for example, coaxial bushings with holes on side surfaces forming through channel between inlet and outlet holes of body. In this case, one of members is fixed in body and other member is mounted for turning relative to stationary member. Throttling valve also include turning member drive mechanism with external control. Mechanism of turning member drive is made in the form of thin-walled noncircular cross-section tube twisted as cylindrical spring. One of spring ends is secured on body tightly and coupled to external supply system of adjustable control pressure. Other end is plugged and secured to turning member by means of tie-rod, for example. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability, extended range of valve application and simplification of technology of control. 1 dwg
