FIELD: communication, transmission systems of various assignment. SUBSTANCE: given process of coding is based on processing of initial signal by signal of clock frequency. Initial digital signal is delayed in advance, delayed and initial signals are compared, packages of "1" and "0" and alternating "1" and "0" are detected in digital signal and are transformed into three-level pulse signal with duration corresponding to those of packages, four clock pulse trains with duration of pulses and pauses equal to duration of one symbol are formed and shifted relative one another through intervals multiple of number of halves of duration of single symbol. After this they are utilized to process initial digital signal. Pulses or pauses with duration multiple of number of halves of one bit and exceeding one bit whose start coincides with start of this or that clock pulse train are formed at points of transition from one packages to other packages. Duration of time intervals between pulses of transition is analyzed and if it does not exceed maximum possible duration of pulse transition then pulses of one bit duration are formed in these intervals. In opposite case they are formed by duration exceeding duration of pulses of transition whose starts coincide with start of any clock pulse train. Specified pulses are sent into communication line when pause with duration not shorter than one symbol between them and pulses of transition or between pulses proper can be formed.
