FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to benzonitriles and benzofluorides of the formula (I) where Ar means phenyl residue that is mono- or disubstituted with CN and/or F; Q means C_nH_2n; n = 3 or 4 and their salt of acids addition also with exception of 3-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-piperazinyl)-butyl] -5-cyano-indole and 3-[4-(2-fluorophenyl)-1-piperazinyl)-butyl]-5-cyano-indole but not their salts of acids addition. Compound (I) is synthesized from the compound (II) where X¹ means X and X means Cl, Br, J, OH or reactive functionally modified OH-group; Q is given above and compound (III): X²-CH₂-CH_rNA_r-CH₂-CH₂X³ where X² and X³ in common mean NH; Ar is indicated above, or compound (I) is synthesized by interaction of compound (IV) where X and Q are indicated above with compound A_rNH₂ where Ar is indicated above. Compounds (I) are used in pharmaceutical composition showing agonistic activity with respect to serotonin.
