DRAINAGE FILTER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning water (liquid); drainage, distributing and accumulating systems of water treatment filtering plants; final cleaning of sewage; drainage of silt and sludge platforms. SUBSTANCE: drainage filter includes framework made in form of perforated pipe; perforations of this pipe are shifted in adjacent rows relative to diameter of framework; filter is also provided with couplings located on both sides of framework and porous sleeve manufactures by pneumatic extrusion; this sleeve embraces outer surface of perforated pipe; porous sleeve is made from multi-layer fibrous material at porosity of 80 to 400 mcm; taper perforations have lesser diameter equal to 0.04-0.004 - 0.1 of inner diameter of pipe and larger diameter equal to 0.1-0.2 of outer diameter of perforated pipe; their sizes promote smooth distribution of liquid being cleaned, thus enhancing efficiency and rate of filtering process. Framework of drainage filter is provided with sleeve; one sleeve has external thread and other sleeve has internal thread which are mated. They may be used for connecting several filters for forming drainage distributing system.
