FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing tissue to low intensity monochromatic radiation in wave length bandwidth of 630-645 nm and recording fluorescence in the range of 650-730 nm. Fluorescence is recorded in one or several cycles averaging brightness of the corresponding image points in all registration cycles, determining significant brightness range of averaged image and expanding the range by recalculating it over the whole dynamic display unit range. Colored carrying image of the tissue is additionally recorded at the same angle of approach and in the same scale. Auxiliary images are recorded at the excitation and fluorescence wavelengths are recorded under illumination with corresponding light sources together with fluorescent images of natural zone of proliferation in the same patient and fluorescent test object. Device has monochromatic radiation source exciting fluorescence of endogenous porphyrins and their complexes with radiation proteins. The light source has radiation wavelength of 630-645 nm, unit for recording fluorescent image and monochromatic images, unit for recording colored carrying image, computer with graphic data presentation, output and storage units, white light source for illuminating the tissue under study, unit for switching over the light sources and converging beans into collinear scheme, unit for collinear illumination of the tissue under study and receiving reflected and fluorescent signals, unit for dividing image, unit filtering radiation, processor unit for handling video, synchronization and control signals. The device has additional monochromatic radiation source in 650-730 nm bandwidth and source for illuminating laboratory room.
