FIELD: contactless clinical diagnostics of malignant tumors. SUBSTANCE: method includes the following operations. Surface of tissue being examined is irradiated by monochromatic radiation which produces inherent fluorescence. Its image is obtained in narrow spectral range corresponding to fluorescence band. Presence of malignant tumors is judged by spatial variations of intensity observed on fluorescent image. Region of malignant tumor localization is determined by comparing of fluorescent image with reference images of examined tissue obtained at the same aspect and on the same scale but in other spectral range. Device for method embodiment has monochromatic source of radiation producing fluorescence, radiation transmission channel, reference image recording channel, source of reference image illumination, and fluorescent signal receiving channel made in the form of system transmitting two-dimensional image and spectral-selective television camera connected to computer.
